About King Island is famous for it's fine cheese and shipwrecks - they are indeed linked. For it was from the straw stuffing of washed up mattresses that bore the island it's good grass for grazing. Like wise the island has attracted and produced some individual characters, matured by the island's ocean climate of rain and good air.
