Location City -  San Diego
State -  CALIFORNIA
Country - United States   United States
About These homes, actually villas, are located in Mexico immediately adjacent to the U.S. border (the fence near the left margin). Their value is in seven figures and were built with funds from drug trafficking. This area is where the U.S. - Mexico border reaches the Pacific Ocean; where both countries disappear into the sea. It is a very unusual place to visit, and once there to reflect on all the issues relevant to the place. Although this image portrays a wealthy location, 200 meters away the abject poverty of a third world country is readily apparent. Only the dedicated efforts of a few Border Patrol agents keep the flood of illegal aliens from becoming a deluge. More to follow.
