Still playing with my new camera. Don't know what the flower is (something we got a work) but I sure do like purple. Here I used the Standard Macro mode on the Powershot Pro1 from about 4 Inches. Exposure info above is correct. Meter mode = pattern, no exp comp. I think I'm getting the dof down on this thing.
WOW... these are really beautiful colours! You have a great camera. The lightning is perfect. Just a little pitty the background DOF could be better. When the background has more gaussian blur the sharpness of the flower would give a great contrast, like it is popping out. My english isn't that good, but I hope you understand what I meant to say.
