very nice
I am agree withKim::

If your focus is on the heron, then I think that perhaps you should crop out the waterfall. It's a stunning location, but the first thing my eye goes to is the waterfall because it's so much larger and so much brighter. OR maybe just crop this into a square to keep a bit of the top of the waterfall to leave some sense of the location.
The heron's head has slightly disappear in the background, as the trees seem to get darker there but I'm sure there wasn't much you could do. I know how finicky birds can be and if you try to move they could fly off

Last week a friend and I went on a photo excursion and came across a blue heron... we silently crept up on it and took a few photos each, very cautious so he didn't fly away. We actually managed to move around quite a bit with him staying still. OTher times I've had birds that you get within 100 yards and they've already flown away.
Keep shooting and posting... hopefully some others will have an opinon as well!
