I think that one day digital will replace film, even at the large 8x10 format simply because of the speed and convenience that digital offers.

It wont be until 30 or 40 megapixel sensors are common place though

Film is never gonna die Brad trust me. Still the best photographer forget medium format film, they shoot 8x10 and 4x5 and yes i am talking about best and famous and great photographers.
i believe digital has something missing so maybe 15 or 20 years later digital maybe come close to the film.Also yes digital easy and fast and cheap thats true but i dont do photography to be fast and easy.

Film is dead Murat...

Just like the CD replaced the vinyl and the DVD replaced the VHS and the cell phone replaced the wired phone, digital is here to stay and it will soon replace film...
