I ALWAYS talk to my cats that eventually they started to talk too! I mean instead of the tiny shy "meow", there are now "meeaaaaaw", "mmmmmm", "muuuugh", "weeaaw"!!!and many many more!!!! remember that day when you said that Siamese are too vocal for you? Maya, my Siamese, is the quietest kitty..! her greatest achievement is "mew"!!!! but Nootchi inherited the trait from her.. he's so vocal and I love it...! ;-) I mimic every sound he does to encourage him to talk more..! lol

Pets are the best listeners ever! I always talk to my neesa about everything and anything and she answers with the occasional mewo or purr, even Mr. speedy my 8 years old sweet water turtles stretches his neck to listen aren’t they the best!
