This is sweet. I find the tilt of his body the best part about it. It shows that he is comfortable.
I think the body should stay in the photo for sure.

I suppose I agree with Ruta about the lighting, but it's not bad. I think you should crop most of his body out and make it fairly tight around his head and face. Nice.

It's always nice to use natural light for the portraits. That way also pictures looks more natural, and also children - they start to pose more infront of studio flashes. In this picture he looks curious about what you was doing. This is the cute portrait of sweet child. I think I'ld prefare more zoomed picture. The reflections in his eyes are wonderfull - they create kind of "sun" - really nice. Maybe you can try to use white panel - to give a little of the light also from the left side. Regards
