No - I was lucky, turned out they were more concerned I was going to complain because of not getting down again lol Was a bit daunting when you are taken above rocks rather than the sea but still would not have missed it. They have come on a bit now, I believe now you are clipped on on the boat and let out. I had to swim to a pontoon, there was a coil of rope in the middle connected to the speedboat. I was told when the speedboat sets off to run as fast as I could and jump off the pontoon. Blinking eck !! It was quite a rush though lol

Great photo Brad, I went up on one of these in Cyprus. It was so windy they could not get me down for nearly 20 minutes - even the speedboat was lifting up .... maybe I had eaten too many kebabs lol

I experienced this on Bali after my son's wedding there. It's quite a thrill. But my real preference is for the powered paraglider, an ultralight plane. Three of us clubbed together to buy one in the US and fly it within Japan. It was a cinch to fly, and great fun until one of (not me, sir) put petrol in the two-stroke engines. Argh! It never flew again. By the way, hunting or not, that's a nice sharp image!
