Well, relationships have it!Sometimes you just see through the others' feelings and realise that our eyes are indeed the mirror of our souls.Sometimes a photographer becomes a mirror too, like you Mary!Well done. You 'exposed' them!

Petro,I noticed now more clearly the tonal values, it seems to be some blue area wondering in 3 or 4 images of me... How silly... with what you said you helped me to realize that when I scan the images (not the FB ones but the ones in plastic paper) i do not save them into grayscale! So remaining in RGB some subtle tones of the chemical I cannot really see (my daydreaming eyes..) appear in the screen though I could not see them in the photo!! Thanx for making me realize this. It was so simple!! I will see if I can change them here. Danke!

Dear Carlheinz, thanx for the hints! I will have them in mind , you are right. I do not want to omit the bars as I do not touch the images apart from some rare cropping. But maybe I will do it for my own use!

It is my scanner Petro, not one of the best after all... I print most of my B&W images using FB but the images are 30x40 so the ones I scan are not FB as they are the initial samplers (not all tones visible)plus the scanner' minus... thanx for the comment!

The impression is great. Great comp. Some more technical hints would help to prevent questions like: Was it the scanner...? ;-) I like the softness wherever it came from. I agree on the tonal range. Especially in the mid range you could improve the picture. Speaking about improvement. The white bars are easy to remove, I think you should do that. Anyway, Great capture. I love it. Cheers! There is an interesting dynamic between the three here. The title encapsulates just that. Thematically, a beautiful capture. I'm not sure if it's your scanner or my screen, but I find the tonal values to lack somewhat. Do I care? No! The subtle and underlying message of this photo supersedes the small, technical imperfections. Well seen Mary :-)
