No flash. Kitten was facing window. I never realised it would be so bad/obvious, till I downloaded the 200 odd images I shot of 5 very active kittens! Lesson learnt :-)

No matter how difficult it is, the rewards are numerous. Not only for a keepsake for my website (which is in dire need of updating!) but also the joy and gratitude from the new owner. Makes it worth it :-)

Emgy, don't think for one minute that it is not blood, sweat and tears :-)) I have a variety of teaser wands that I try to hold their attention with and every now and then I get a great shot. The other 100's are just for the kitten owners and they don't mind the odd pose or slight blur :-)
I have also learnt my lesson and now set up in a room where I can close the door behind me, to keep the other cats out because once they hear the teaser wands, they all want to join in the play :-)
It's also difficult with the little ones because when my lighting is good (I don't use/have lamps) it is normally their sleep time. I have about 5 minutes of active interest and then you can see they are starting to get annoyed/sleepy/bored :-)
But yeah, this baby boy is a total sweetie!
