I like bugs so I thought I would have a look.

Unfortunatley he/she does not look metalic purple and also a little fuzzy. Did you use a tripod? Shutter speed seems high enough but this is not seen in the picture.

The antennae look interseting and I can see this is the focus (no pun) of your photo. It just struck me, the legs are missing, is this animal dead? Legs would have given this picture some balance.
