Hi,John,many thanks for your comment! Unfortunately this lens cannot open up more than f 5.6 at this focal and that's why you can see the horizontal stem. That's the max blur you can achieve.
The photo isn't retouched as I thought it best to leave it natural. Great to hear from you! Antonella

Beautiful soft colours Antonella. The rendition of the flower is first class but that horizontal stem in the background is a bit too strong.IMHO
