the next time I went to the island (Samothrace) the tree was cut and burnt... it pained me a lot!
I loved this tree...it was in front of our tent!!

Without having any technical knowledge on photography (therefore i cannot post any comments on the size, angle and format of the pic) i can only point out, as a simple observer that is, my admiration for the "life" that this image captures in. Watching it, i felt the cold wind blowing all over around me, while the feeling of solitude and isolation that the picture ingeniously transcends, results into a photo full of emotions and (solemn) beauty. It makes me even more melancholic...Great!

Actually it dances my friend...This island is one of the sacred islands of Greece and, in my view as well as other addicts to the place views, everything there is "alive" and can be seen in multiple ways. The sky looks like this even during the day, as there is a strange light effect not always visible to the eye but always captured in films.
