Came across this protest action in Georgetown University. Decided to take couple images and share. In left upper corner is card that people signed to support Amnesty International and help Raul Rivero Castaneda out of Fidel Castro's prison. Text on the other side of card: "Dear Comandante Fidel Castro, Amnesty International reported on 19 September 2003 that Raul Rivero Castaneda, a renowned Cuban poet and author, was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Amnesty International is "calling for immediate and unconditional release of Raul Rivero on the grounds that he is a prisoner of conscience detained solely for peacefully attempting to exercise his right to freedom of expression, association, and assembly." MR Rivero is vice president of Committee of Freedom of Press of the Inter-American Press Association. Please release Mr. Rivero and allow him to rejoin his family. Also, please allow International Committee of the Red Cross to visit Cuban political prisoners. Respectively, _______space for sender name, address
