About I have decided to only submit new images so I had to go find something today. This ewe was taking it easy below the Chalk Cliffs along Chalk Creek near Buena Vista, Colorado this afternoon. This was on the Love Ranch NWR.

Michael: Since this was shot as a large-fine JPEG I set the camera WB to auto and corrected the color balance in Photoshop using curves on the animal's white rump. I didn't use a polarizer but I probably should have as the angle of the sun looks close to perfect for it. Oh well! As you can see, I didn't need the teleconverter either but it was on the lens and I didn't think fast enough to take it off. I did, however, have the tripod but didn't need it so much.
