VERY NICE!! Great title for this image! Wonderful photograph. Love the composition and the overll 'feel' to it. I expecially like the branches at the top left, they are hinting of an arch! Image makes you wonder...'just what IS at the end of the road!!!

Very silent and lonely. I'm amazed how deeply all your works present the silence of the loneliness... You are a great artist!

A masterpiece. Tonal range is complete; composition is impeccable. Your camera is one of the most underrated classics around.

I am not an expert so I can only attest to the emotion created. For me, the darkness in the foreground urges one to keep moving along the path. The brightness at the end offers hope, but it is obscured in the fog. All in all, it is very mysterious and inviting. I have been looking at photos on Usefilm for quite some time. This image forced me to comment for the first time. Thank you.

Excellent image, somewhat forbidding but also tranquil. Solitude... and loneliness. The clarity in the foreground limited by the fog farther out are just as the eye would see it... given a good eye! Square format is perfect here. Fine work. Regards. Tim

nowhere is everywhere as the fog embellishes and mystifies the most mundane and a good picture tells a story or transmits a mood or simply pleases your eyes & mind and calms your spirit : and all of this you can find here, provided you got eyes to see

Hi Paolo! I'm impressed by the atmosphere you create. It's very visible throughout your portfolio, but I think the Yashica medium format brings it out more clearly and visible. Great stuff! Somewhat depressing, but mostly a grim and haunting mood and atmosphere. This is a strikingly good example, the fog, the piles of wood along the path that disappears in the distance, the wet disconsolate trees.... Superb! Very, very well done, my compliments!
Cheers,
Hugo

Nice moody shot... I think the square composition works well here. And I like the grain and (is that?) fog.
