Good image. Agree that the shadow area is a little harsh could be lightened, that is the printer coming out in me. Also agree that the plant is a distraction. It is still a good image overall, you are lucky to be able to photograph in such a beautiful place.

An ok shot, above average, but not among your best imo. The shadow has eaten up much of this image, and somehow, I can't be convincent that it was agood thing. Then, it is composed quite tight, yet there is wasted space on the left to include this plant, which I don't find really great-looking. Still the door itself is nice and the image overall quite pleasant. No major complaint. Regards.
I like the simplicity of the composition. I think the sharp diagonal line of the shadow works very nicely here. Were you using the multispot metering on your EOS 3? If so, it was a good choice to keep the detail in the shadow without letting the sunlit part overwhelm the photo. The sharpness is great as well. You gotta love that IS lens, huh? Good work Aiman.
