About This was taken in Golden Gate Park to be used as a promotional image for an upcoming fashion show. The model showed up late so I only had about 10 minutes of daylight. Would have liked to shoot a lot more... The shoes are not cut off on the negative but the 6x4.5 format doesn't quite fit standard paper sizes. (The lab prints on 4x5) If I ever make an enlargement, I will print full-frame.

Nice. Glad to hear that the feet arent cut off here. That would be ashame. Nicely composed and great tones.

Thanks for the comments Julien !! The white edges are Usefilm borders but I definitely agree that the current crop is less than spectacular. If I have additional prints made, they will definitely be full frame. I actually have images of this model the I prefer but the areas of rick black cause my scanner all sorts of problems and cleaning them up is very time consuming. I think the other images have the expression that you were looking for... Thanks !! JCB

Thought I'd just add that I did read that the feet are nog included because of the paper size... What if you print it smaller and crop the white edges?

Well I have been away for the weekend and I have 410 new images to go through. I'll only comment on the ones I find really interesting and this is the first on in that row.

The setting and the pose are good. As well as the compositiong. I think her expression could be better though. A great smile or something more intruiging or explicit. Here her expression doesnt really tell me anything and doesnt make for a connection between the pose and the context... I think her expression could be elementaire for the story. Maybe there is no story though...

I also think the framing could be better, I really have a problem with feet that are left out of the frame, in a way that doesnt really help the photo... as here IMO.

Well I hope this was of some use! :-)

Regards,
Julien
