Clark's Nutcracker, isn't it?

Nicely done, but I find the blowout around the eyes and lack of a catchlight detracts. In fact, the lack of detail in the eye kinda makes me think of "Children of the Damned". At the time, there was probably nothing that could be done since the sun was so high. Was this bird close? I recall that they're very bold around humans; if this was that kind of situation, maybe a fill-flash would have evened out the light.
