I don't know if it's the scan or the image itself, but I think that although the colours are beautiful, you've lost a noticeable amount of sharpness here. It looks somewhat blurry to me. Also, I think your horizon is just slightly off level... not necessarily bad things, I suppose, based on your intent, but something I figured I should point out.
