About I took this photo of a glowing sunset on a rocky point in Santa Barbara, California. The light at sunset on the coast is like nothing I have ever seen in my life! Everything was glowing in the gold and orange rays. The place may look desolate, but there is a park at the top of the cliffs.

The scene works well in B&W, but I'm left wondering about the "glowing sunset" and "everything was glowing in the gold and orange rays." Why did you remove what sounds to me like one of the things you liked most about the moment?
