About	I took this in January or February of 2003. Beautiful lighthouse on Anacapa in the Channel Islands. Off in the distance you can see mountains and the city of Ventura, California.

yes it does look crooked, but the horizon line in the distance is straight. When I try to compensate and rotate the image to make the vertical lines of the lighthouse be "straight" vertical, the horizon looks all wrong. Maybe a comprimise is in store, but I still like the way it is now. As far as the colors being washed out...if I'm not mistaken I used a sky 81a or warming filter, but I could be wrong. It was over a year ago, I had a horrible hangover (the hour boat-ride in large swells to the island didnt help) and I didnt write down the info all lead to me not remembering the technical aspects of the photo.

it looks crooked? feels washed out.. no pun intended... maybe that was your desired look... not sure.
