Sarah,
I like the repetitious pattern of the tombstones and the organic contrast of the trees. What is particularly nice here is how the trees branches could be symbolic of dendrites and we wonder what can possibly bridge the synapse into death.

Hi Sarah,
Two great images, but I vote for the previous one as my favorite of the two. Both are strong compositions, but for my taste, the first one is "cleaner" - just my personal preference, though.
Thanks for your comments on my "dreydle" photo - I'm glad I followed the link to your portfolio - you have a really great eye for shapes, colors, patterns, and composition!
Best regards, SteveR

It makes me sad, but I'm guessing thats the mood you were going for considering you photographed a sad place. I like the shot overall and the choice for B&W was perfect considering the real scene would look B&W anyway and you this could be a color shot for all I know...

An eerie image captured Sarah, the title is most fitting. The tree donning the top left and right add immensely to the photo as their leaf-absent branches compliments the lifeless environment. b&w used to very good effect, the smooth gradient from the white of the snow to the dark grey at the top of the photo is really good. An excellent capture Sarah!

I like this one a little better too-there's something about the contrast between the texture of the trees(organic), and the texture of the stones(structured)-that gives this piece some play. very well composed, and the toning really sets the feeling of this too.

I like this a little better than the last. Way different concept in the composition. Looks like you got some good shots here. Cheers, Sarah!!
