I like the way she's posed, her expression and the shallow dof. A reflector could have been used to light up the face and avoid some of those harsh shadows. A very nice portrait all the same.

J. Alberto,

First, let me say I'm only an amateur but I love to comment on what I see. With that I hope that should my comments/observations be off target or incorrect...that someone point it out for me; it helps me enhance my perspective.

I was really drawn to this image and it's very nice. IMHO the shadow on the right side of the face is a little bit too harsh. It detracts from the overall image and I admit that I wouldn't have caught this (yet) but the hair on the sweater and little lump on the top of the head needs attention also.

I hope for other comments from others as I use my comments and those of others as a learning tool for myself. Please don't think I'm nit picking, rather that I'm trying to enhance my own skills.
