Thanks for remarks Stacey, yes I like this snow,my portfolio will be half full of snow pictures. This close up is much better than original, could be a little sharper but that's the way it goes. Did you shoot the dirty mirror for effect? I've happened to find it easier sometimes to clean with PaintShop Pro than with cleaning supplies.

Samuel Thank you for your post :)
I chose the dead roses because I don't have any living ones in my house right now :)
Those roses were ones that my husband bought for me a couple years ago.. I kept them and dried them because buying roses for me is something he rarely does. The day I took the picture it dawned on me that they are still just as colorful -and beautiful, but in a whole new way- as the day he brought them home to me. They are a reminder that though he rarely shows it, he really does love me.. I guess I could have showed that better with a much happier title though, huh? ;)
Thank you again :)Stace

Yes Stacey, a little more cropping will certainly improve this image. (But why dead roses from a living rose!)

Thank you :) I know what you mean.. When I took the picture, that's what I was going for (and what was in the view finder) but the camera didn't take it that way.. I was hesitant to post this one, but figured 'what the heck' ;)
:)Stace (this is the original that I posted..)

I think it could be better if the mirrow was complete (I mean, we could not see its end, but just the roses and the reflection). In this way, it looks like apostcard...
thanks anyway to have shown us such a decadent beauty.
