Spencer, I like this image. The effect you created with the distant mountain ridges, the foothills in the foreground and the town nestled in between the two keeps the viewers interest. Excellent composition. I like this image more than the second posting. Regards, Mike

Keith, thanks for the suggestion... I think it made a huge difference. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you were describing, but I like it! : ) Thanks!

Spencer,
a few ideas - crop the sky, to concentrate the eye on the city. Tone down the colours in the grass a little in order to let the eye pass over the foreground and oh yeah make sure the horizon is level.
its certainly a departure from your usual stuff which I find very stimulating.
Good work

keith

Roby, haha! I know.. doesnt' look much like a city. : ) But, hey, it was big enough for the 2002 winter olympics, right? : ) 909,000 people crammed in that valley, just no big buildings to hold them in.

Indeed different from your work and you've done a great work of this landscape shot. I like the perspective. The composition and colours are beautiful too. I think that the other shot is a good one too. Hard to decide which one is better. I like the tree on the foreground. It adds to the image Very well done, Spencer
