Wow, this model is fantastic and you did a very nice job at directing her posure. She has charisma, identity and incredible natural healthy looking structure. I think you have far better pictures technicly in your strong portfolio but I really felt like commenting this model. More please:)

I am also a believer that ALL woman has a certain beauty... Unfortunately many people rate an image accordingly of the models, no matter technique, concept, etc... This is a very well executed portrait that captures the strong personality of the woman, in my opinion, more important than weight, or cropping. Regards and sorry for my english. Ricardo

Very nice picture, although I find it too tightly cropped, especially on the left. I think you really managed to capture the beauty of this woman. I agree with you that everybody has something that can make a great picture, but it is in the hands of the photographer to see and capture that. As for the discussion of this lady being fat or not: take the BMI (Body Mass Index or Quetelet Index) as a reference (weight in kgs / (length in m^2)), everything between 20 and 25 is ok, between 25 and 30 is overweight (not fat), above 30 is very overweight, or obese (fat is not a nice word!!!). More info at www.runnersworld.com, under calculators, or through a google search. Sorry to have gone off topic!!! Great Pic though ;-)

I like the overall tone of this photo and you did a good job presenting the natural attractiveness of this model thru lighting, angle and pose. The photo would have done that no matter what size she was. On the other hand I found the tight crop cutting off the fingers of the left hand was distracting. It pulled away from teh natural focus from the models face down to her cleavage, which flowed in a nice line. Good overall job though and no Id never call this model fat. I think that was in poort taste and perhaps just a poor choice of words due to language. I hope so. I would like to do more boudior photos and know that not all my models are not the petite barbie types, yet it have their own sensual and sexual natures and personalites that is my job to bring out and capture. It can be a challenge and yet rewarding to see them with a positive self image after reviewing the their photos. Keep up the good work, Ken

here here pep!
she is not fat... and who is to say what fat is? too bad we live in such a society that we are judged by the flesh on our bones rather than the content of our being!

One more thing... I believe all women, no matter what they look like, what color they are or how tall or short they might be, have a certain charm and beauty that is beyond preset standards. I admire that and try to capture the best in them. I hope I am doing a good job.
Stay well,
ppdix

Amancio. I wouldn't call her fat... This girls are called Plus Size here in the US. They are almost 6 feet tall. There is a huge market for this type of body here, where 70% of the population is overweight.
Cheers
