Barry, you are right, it is a petrolium storage tank in Mainz, Germany. Thank you you all for nice comments but to be honest I am not very happy that this photo is my most "succesfull" ;-) photo to date (and it is not only here but also among my friends). It's a technical thing not comming from my inside, just a play of industrial building and light..
