ohh, Milo, where have you been hiding? i took a fast, too fast, run through your portfolio and i see fun and mystery and intrigue and complexity..have to go to work now but will get back atcha. This is a wonderfully composed image with beautiful colors and interest. The golden leaves need a bit more punch i think. Something to enhance their jewel tones so they don't look dead and defeated on the pavement. Have you ever tried using gaussien blur at about 3.8, then fade in multiply mode? Dodge the leaves as necessary to bring out their gorgeous tones. i did that in this image which i took right after a thunderstorm. The leaf was still vivid but fading and limp. (thanks so much for your comments on my image Genesis.) Best regards: kat~
I like the graphics but would brighten up the yellow color a little, or maybe tune up the contrast. My next to last was taken w/the same camera, also a shot of the ground, I over pumped up the contrast, because the natural coloration did not appeal to me, please compare. What has been your experience w/this camera, I'm finding out the colors are never vivid enough to my satisfaction, it looks good in the playback, but the monitor results are disappointing many a time. I also think I need to manipulate the shot to be satisfied.
