Seems to me there are a lot of Ausssies and pretend ausssies(like me) who hanker after the wonderful continent!! Only two months and I will be back again.. :-). I love this.. When I saw the thumbnail , I thought, Oh oh too dark, but looking at the large size , it is perfect.. regards Marie

You're a lucky guy Richard! This is home for me when back in Oz & I'd love to be between the two counrties as often as you seem to be. Its been too long.

Nice shot & captured the colours of the early summer evening well. Did you play with the colours at all with the 10D. I've just got one & would like to replicate colours like this.

BTW you might like www.aquabumps.com for a daily surf report/beach fix/jogger cam when your in London.

Anyway, keep the nice shots of home coming along.

Hi Richard, and... WOW! I just had to add this to my favourites, and I can see I'm not the only one! It's just so beautiful! So nice and interesting sculptures, but it's with this beautiful composition and stunning light they become so... alive or what I should call it! Looks really amazing, and also the photo quality is so professional! Fantastic photo!

Great framing and exposure on the "family". The composition really makes it feel as if this family got together to watch the sunset. Kudos to the sculptor and yourself as well for posing and waiting for the right moment! This is very cool. Did you need a ND grad at all for this scene?
