Hello, ppdix, yes it is for real! staight from the camera, no inhancement,the light was amazing!! Craig, thanks for your comments,I was pleased to get an interesting forground usually absent in rainbow shots,the sun just broke through and lit up my garden and the neighbours house. I usually curse that house for spoiling my view !!! Hugo, it was taken in the southern hemisphere,Dunedin New Zealand. Regards to you all,thanks for your comments. Micky.

Micky; this is outstanding. It's very difficult to get good rainbow photos because it seems they come and go so quickly, and when you do get a good one, often the rest of the photo isn't very interesting, but you got it all here. Terrific lighting and very good foreground and mid-ground. After the rainbow itself, the house with the red roof and the tree on left really enhance this moment-- going into my favorites! Cheers.
