Kelly Anbach: This is my first DSLR and I'm very pleased with it. My friend has a 10D with a 28-135 USM IS and even though my EF-S 18-55 is inferior, making equally good photos is possible if you really try hard. :) I miss some features such as mirror lockup and so forth, but for the money I payed I can't complain. Looking for new lenses now, planning on getting a 28-70 and 70-200 from Sigma, a macro, perhaps a wide-angle (15-30 perhaps?). I'm sure they will finally make me happy. Oh btw, I really wish I could afford a 1Ds with a full set of Canon L's. ;)
