Diana, I respond more to the reflections on the water than to the glimmering air, so I guess I would vote for Craig Garland's suggestions. The blue spot of mirrored sky is a strong point of focus in the image, on the other hand, I see the long vertical shadow that runs across the third left a bit distracting. The natural framing with the branches and the leaves is very effective, very pleasing.

Je hebt de magische sfeer heel goed weten te vangen in deze foto. Het verdiepen van de kleuren stoort mij totaal niet, de donkere hoek aan de rechterkant maakt naar mijn mening de atmosfeer juist zo treffend.

Diana; I think you succeeded beautifully. This is what nature photography is all about. Your lighting is wonderfully natural-- not hyped in PS. I might want to crop a little off the top which causes the eyes to focus on the water more (I think?). That would make the composition a little more static, but this is a very peaceful setting anyway. Just a thought, and beautiful as is. Thanks for your nice comments on my Indian Paintbrush photo. diana, i am afraid your feeling cannot come across like this. you saaid it was pretty dark but this is pretty light. perhaps you should darken it to the impression you had. that could very well make the difference. this difficulty to record our impression by technical means which have no sensibility, no feeling and no thoughts and memories ....
