Carol, I don't know where to start first. Hmmm...ok...great autobiography...and ya spelled all the big words correctly! I do so like a sharp woman. Next, thanks for the comment on the storm pic. It was taken in several counties in Illinois. If ya look over my porfolio, you will see I have developed a deep love for my state. I was born in another, but I have come to love Illinois. The particular pic I posted was taken in Bureau County, Illinois. My house is about 2 miles behind the group of farm houses in the distance. I am ataching another pic of the storm as I was trying to get ahead of it. That pic was taken near Galesburg, in Knox County. As for this pic...I like it! Very good title...and nice contrast. But I have a question. One is in color and the other b/w. While that works great for the feeling presented...did one or the other feel a bit miffed over the style?

Hi Carol:
I retract my "Daughter of the Wind" comment. After this image, it's going to take years of remedial therapy. You've created a GREAT image though. The shadow-play pattern really stitches it all together -- a surefire book jacket or lead photo.
If you want dancing skeletons -- or people, porpoises, dogs or horses, for that matter -- check out Poser 5. Careful, it's hightly addictive.
Regarding travel writing/photography: I did it for a couple of years and from what I've seen of your skills, you'd have no problem getting a proverbial foot in the door. The bad news is that even at national magazines like T&L, the page rate barely covers your bar tab. So, it helps if you don't drink. As a photographer/writer, at least, you get to double dip on the paychecks. The benefit for the travel impaired is that you sleep, eat and often fly for free -- and usually get the red carpet as well. Best, Jim

Beautiful, dreamy sort of surreal picture, and nice PS work. I think the dappled light holds it all together. Is your sister a talented photographer like you are? Just curious. Nice work. Cheers. Craig

She says... "I'm Not Her...and a follower" Maybe seeing direction Well nauturally... She is... A Lost Canuck In Texas... The capture and creation is rather interesting and effective... and probably more than the elder one... How she turns and yet her eyes remain behind...

Equally frustrating for her to precede a high achieving younger sister! Very well done (again).
