Hi Sara. Thanks for your comments on my IR gazebo photo. I definitely like this photo better - I enjoy how you composed it to display depth in a minimalistic way. I kind of wish the tealight in the foreground was a bit straighter in its holder, but I'm overbearingly picky about stuff like that.
I also liked the photo you posted on my page - the tree isn't obscuring as many of the candle "faces" and is therefore more effective. A bit of cropping near the top and/or bottom could be used. Also, I wonder what the tree would look like if it were very subtley lit with a different light source, say a small flashlight at the base?

Excellent composition with the lead candle drawing the eye into the photo and leading it to the other candles in a row. Nice control of depth of filed. Wish the glare around the flame on the front candle was a bit less. Overall excellent shot.
