i like these pairings. this one is especially nice because the two photos are so unrelated yet relate so well to each other. the road, only interesting by itself, becomes ominous when butted against that straining eye. and the eye, a nice shot on its own, takes on an urgency it did not have before. the wide graphic frame is interesting, but kind of locks down the images, freezing them in a museum-like space. the pictures themselves are better than the whole composition taken together.
