This is atypical of some of the others in your portfolio, but shows a lot of control. This portrait has a good range of tones, a nice pose and direct eye contact from the subject. All-in-all, very effective.

you can read the genuine surprise with a mixed pleasing feeling at the photographer's attention. Her kindness comes right through. This is a wonderful and meaningful portrait of your Grand Ma.I quite like the choice of B&W for such portraits. Well done

javed, thank you for your comment. i don't mind but i refrained from doing so because i didn't feel like giving her face more sharpness and contrast in the signs of age than there were. the high sensitivity film anyway worked pretty steep.
