i have to say the thumbnail drew me right in. i think it is classic and would love to have this hanging on my wall. strenghts are that it is timeless; carries a reference that many know; is well composed, yet still somewhat abstract; has multiple meanings within the simple image. lighting is also great and adds to the moodiness of this image. it will end up in my favs as well.

Ursula,
I like it quite well. The lighting is very effective - it strikes the face of the mask quite appropriately and leaves a nice shadow where the eyehole is at. I also like how it picks out the veil so nicely and evenly. The only thing I would consider would be to perhaps crop the pin out but that is me - I find it distracting.
