Almost! The composition, choice of B&W, all is great. The only thing that bothers me is the cigarette. The hands are great object of focus themselves, cigarette is too much!

Hi Damir, this hand shot is emotive. Looking at the image, one can knit up stories of a person's life. Te details are very sharp, tonal range is good.
I do agree that it would have been better had the lady wore a simpler dress, but the clothes she wears is also a part of her life story which adds up to the word 'Emotive.'

I agree with the previous comment about the lighting but I like this composition a lot. It shows many details. I generally do not like the comination of different patterns on the background but in the image it somehow suits the main object.

Good observation of these 'old' hands, but the actual photographic treatment of the subject is rather bland. The lighting is flat and one-dimensional - was it flash? There's a lack of 'moulding' in the lighting, the subject really needs more light and shade to be be more than just a document of the scene.
