the opened image is more interesting than the thumbmail because here you can enjoy the little girl's beautiful expression. Sharpness is the main problem,in my opinion,while composition is good and the top lighting creates some very effective shadows on the girl's face. bye Bjorn :-)

Shots like these are difficult because there's no time to do make adjustments. I think it could be a bit sharper and use a bit more contrast other than that I think the composition is A+. Perhaps a little fill flash might have perked it up a bit too.

I like the leading lines and foreshortened perspective drawing out attention to that cute little girl and her bright smile.
The "Winding Road" was "improved" with PS. You must do something when you live in a virtual desert, although that was shot during our brief wildflower season.
