Beautiful shot, Irenka, and thank you for viewing my "Colorado Mountains" shot. My shot was taken 3 years ago, in late October of 2000. Comparing mine to yours, I'd say the bright white snow in mine makes a more interesting reflection off the water, but otherwise, they are very similar shots! Nice to meet you.

I think this would have been a good occasion for using a haze and/or polarising filter (does your camera support external filters?). Neither the mountain nor the reflections in the water stand out strongly enough, and so my eye tends to be drawn to that unidentifiable white strip right in the middle of the image. To me it's an OK snapshot and the colours are nice, but it sort of lacks a subject, and I think there are some better views available from this location.
