Mike; a '59 or '60 I believe-- so that would make it 40+ years old. The flat tire is cool on this far gone shell of a once cherry car. Nice work.

Great subject, but the photo is a tad flat. When you are presented with a great opportunity like this its difficult to know exactly what to point your lens at!! Do you get the whole car in? fine if the backround is also interesting or you can compose a shot that says something or tells a story. If not go for a detail, look for the most interresting part that tells you most about what you are shooting and focus on it. From your shot I'd try to get in on one of the deflated tyres and the rusted bodywork around it, or maybe the curved of the windscreen and A-pillar. The whole car would look nice full frame if you had a Haselblad x-pan knocking around!!
I'm guilty of not taking my own advice, I found a car the other day that was quite new and clean but had been left so long that ivy had covered everything up to the bottom of the window. Great subject matter but after about 20 shots I still didn't get 'that perfect angle'. As soon as I get them developed I'll post one.
