Kathleen and others, thank you very much. There was very little if any post processing on this perhaps, unsharp mask. I used an exposure lock on the white feathers, and used exposure compensation plus a notch and it produced a decent exposure. I shot it in aperature priority pretty high around f16, and partial metering. Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Alan, taking a walk through your portfolio is like the magical mystery tour..rich, sensual, lush, dreamy and REAL...i paused on this shot because technically it's brilliant. How did you get such wonderful whites and color saturation together? There's not one single blown highlight, not even in the red areas which is glossier than the feathers. There is ultra rich detail and your composition is compelling. You give me something to aspire to. i'm in awe. best regards: kat~
