About	This was taken near Symonds Yat; it is the River Wye. It was originally a slide which I printed onto Cibachrome paper as a 10 x 8 and I have now scanned it on my Epson 1200 flatbed to get this image - it was always grainy but now appears even more so.

The combination of the vivid blue of the water, the motion and the grain gives a very 'painting' like effect. I like the overall feel of this, but I find the 'tilt' a bit disturbing - like I'm just about to be swept away in the icy waters! I'd rotate and crop a little to fix this.
