a sea of red, white and blue as far as the eye can see! Yes, your title is a good one and the capture is wonderful particularly for a new resident to these shores. i like your crop up above and would have preferred a little more at the bottom to give more of the feeling of the people around...actually it's because i like those vertical poles..haha...it's late and i'm getting punchy..but seriously, i like the repetition of the vertical lines to balance that amazingly fluid sea of red, white and blue..this is very journalistic, you really made me feel homesick with this shot, Andrew! Any way you can crisp up the softness a little? regards: kat~

-- I think people get confused between the political side of things and the artistic side of things-- this is a photo site-- we judge the photo-- not nessacarily the message!! -- I like the work-- I think it is original because I have never seen anything like this...... my only complaint is that I wouldnt want the people in the shot! -- check out some of my 9.11 works-- like "remember"

This is not about Patriotism American or otherwise, it is an image recording what people were doing to mark an event that effected lots of people. As The title suggests and the image shows it shows stars and stripes for ever in the pic. I gave the details of why where and when so people knew how the photo came about. I am actually from the UK Just moved here, but it alters not what happened that day but this is just an image, no message as each person present has their own messages from that day.
