Actually Bob, this is in Nevada. I wish we could get some clouds like this in So-Cal! I'll admit though that there is some nice scenery in California. San Diego just isn't the most exciting.

Hey there Bob. Thanks for your comments on my IR shot. Go read my rambling response :-) I like this. It is all about the clouds and therefore no need to include much more 'earth'. It's great, but is missing something to be spectacular. Can you plop an eagle or something in there? For what it is, it's well composed and exposed. Oh, that IR was shot at ISO 800 btw.
