the tighly cropped composition works for me...but I think your exposure was off...many parts of the wet petals appear over exposed...too many white highlights...the dof could also have been better, as it is the very center of the flower which should be detailed is blurred...as if your focus was just slightly behind center...the vibrant colors are a reall draw and well captured
