Thanks Sarah and Michael. This photo is taken just outside of Warkworth in Northumberland County, but before you look at a map of Northern England, I should tell you that I am speaking of my home in Southern Ontario, Canada. This tranquil scene is located about 90 miles east of Toronto just north of Lake Ontario.
I pass by this field every day but on Friday I was particularly attracted by the intense colours and textures. Fair weather clouds moving quickly overhead highlighted the view, creating interesting shadows and highlights.
When I looked at the thumnail, I thought of a typical english countryside. Even the bigger version makes me think of my country. Where did you take this? By the way, I like this because it is very tranquil.
