Tae what? Sarcasm aside.. we all have our opinions on what "real" martial arts is..
Kyudo is a great form of discipline as Ventrix hinted at. Someone that has no clue of archery would wonder what these practitioners are doing. This image would work better if more of the person is shown along with a better part of the bow. Its important in kyudo to have the correct stance, draw of the arrow, etc. The arrows coming out of this guys head is kinda distracting. Very cool subject, since its at a sword school Im sure you have access to photographing kendo and/or iaido. Catch the expressions (very little) and complete concentration on the masters forms.
Now that "The Last Samurai" has been beaten in the heads of ignorant people I think its important to show how graceful and disciplined masters are in Japanese arts. Funny how they spend a lifetime to learn them, but Tom Cruise can learn them in a matter of a few months and say he has mastered them.. thats Hollywood for you. Put him up against Musashi, Tom wouldnt last one second after Musashi's katana leaves its saya. So in short I think its important to show more of the spirit of what is happening.
