About	I saw this bee crawling on the ground, and I thought, "that's interesting...", so I decided to take some pictures of it. After a few minutes of photographing, I realized that I was watching this bee die. While examining the pictures on my computer, I noticed that the bee was missing its stinger. By stinging something threatening, she had sacrificed herself to protect the rest of the colony. It was sad to see this bee die all by herself when the reason she was died was because she stung to protect her colony.

Great shot.. it's unfortunate that behind this picture an unpleasent story.. but you are lucky to be there to witness this moment...
